I always thought Lyra/Crystal fits Meganium, Feraligatr fits Silver and Typhlosion fits Ethan/Gold.I done this a while back during the summer to test a new style. I had sketches planned for Silver and Gold although I hadn't had the time after that to finish. Time to resketch! >D
My friend said that messy lines are bad...do you guys think so? I always thought sketches have some sort of energy a polished linework tend to not have.

Personally I'm not partial either way, I think it all depends on the particular style of the artist; sometimes, pieces look much better polished, but sometimes as you said, the sketchiness retains a sort of energy and I think the artist really shows through the work a lot more. In this case I think it was a good choice.

Great stuff, the sketchy lines really add to the style of the over all image. secondly the water color look is great and really makes the image look pro. the only thing i would change or alter slightly is the girls face, if its intentional it's fine but i think looking into her chin area, strengthening it with darker shading or a line to define the jar area. that being said a background would be nice or shadows for the characters would be nice, adding a little bit of object foundation. but over all a great piece and really compliments your gallery. keep up the great work, I'll be back to check out any new images you post up.
