's last piece inspired me to do some TT fanart of my own, sometimes I wonder if Robin even remembers what color his own eyes are. Its just plain WIERD how he never takes his mask off, I mean, MAYBE I can understand sleeping in uniform just in case there is an emergency in the midlle of the night, but he can't take the stupid mask off so he can rightly sleep!? Even Raven takes off her cloak when she sleeps, and frankly I never understood how covering about 3 square inces of your face, most of which is your eyeballs, is supposed to maintain a secret identity, oh well, at least he doesn't just put on a pair of glasses like Superman/Clark Kent does.Related content

but if you look very closely in Trouble in Tokyo there is a part where you can see his eyes but it was just black and white, unless his eyes are a really dark brown it was just anime surprised style O.o

that was the only time in the entire series that he ever took the mask off. I think the writers knew we'd notice because they deliberately teased us with thoughts of seeing his face before he put the shades on.

yes, that was made kinda clear over the course of the series, but it doesn't fit with the continuity of the old batman cartoon, it would have made more sense if this robin was Tim, but the writers decided to go with Dick

Believe it or not covering just your eyes does work. One year in middle school I dressed as bat girl and wore the mask like Bat girl did in the dumb Batman and Robin movie, with a costume that I made (my mom made it). If I was running in the hall and didn't stay put too long the hall monitors could not recognize me. When I took off my mask for one monitor she was actually really shocked that it was me because the stupid mask actually works. So people are really blind I mean like you just said, look at SuperMan, glasses and one wave of hair really makes the differences. And as for Robin if he locks his door like Raven I'm sure no one would go in his bed room, so I bet he could risk at least changing clothing. A episode proved he had multiple costumes and masks so he has to take it off for at least a sec right? And another question doesn't it bother the titans that they have one member who actually has a secret identity and for all we know does not know who he really is?

yeah thats true, hes the only one with a secret identity isn't he? Well, how is a guy with a face thats half metal, an orange skinned girl, and a pointy eared green boy gonna disguise their identities anyway? We all know the main purpose of protecting one's secret identiy is to keep your family safe from all the supervillains who have a grudge. Star and Raven don't have any family on earth, as far as i know beast boy and cyborg don't have any family or they are safe (cyborgs father, for example, might be a government scientist and so has lots of protection) but Robin is Tim Drake, Bruce Wayne's adopted son, if the bad guys found out that Robin was Tim, they'd put 2 and 2 together and know who batman is. That presents a reason why Robin chooses to be the only one with a secret identity, but not WHY HE SLEEPS WITH HIS MASK!!!
