Description
I found a Metro City soldier figure from Astroboy on a clearance rack at toysrus and found it made a perfect base for a SWAT bot. I used the colors from the cartoon instead of the comic because I always liked them better. A real pain was having to make the head twice, because the first plastic dome I molded the head around lost its shape in the hot water used to cure the clay and part of the face fell off. YAY SWAT bots.... FTW. Is it a good size comparison to the sonic figures? they were only a little below waste high, but then again the old sonic was younger so i guess sonic would be a little taller

back in the olden days Sonic was only waist high, but nowadays he comes up to chest height, due mostly to his longer legs and even bigger head. By that metric this figure is the perfect height for a SWAT bot. Hmm, actually now that I think about it maybe a Polly pocket which is about 4 inches high would be perfect to make a Princess Elise figure...

Later comics had Swatbots in those colors too. Though they were called Shadowbots and not Swatbots.

Shadowbots were also much bigger and more powerful, if I were to compare them to another robot toy I'd go with the Fox Sports robot.
