*mlatimerridley suggested I do a Clace version of [link] , which I thought sounded like a really fun idea. I ended up using a completely different painting method for this though, because I am incapable of being consistent :P

I don't know what fanart this is (like what book/movie), but I have a thing for hair and espacially red hair at the moment so, yeah

Pretty much self-study, yeah. If you look at the first few pictures I uploaded on dA I hardly used any colour, but I practiced and experimented and I think I'm getting there :)

Their hair, the gestures - how he seems to cling more to her than she to him, her calmness, his sad expression (like: "I know what I have done"). The light around both of them, so lovely - how she enlightens his world <3
And even the detail of her freckles!
Although she hadn´t a mark on her yet, I think it fits well for that scene and not just because it´s the Angelic Rune - ah, I just saw the Clairvoyance Rune, too! It´s a great art work.
The colours, the shadows... Shall I continue?

I couldn't really remember if Clary had any runes other than the Clairvoyant sight one, but I thought Angelic Power fit. I probably haven't got their clothes right either, I have the feeling they should both be wearing gear, whoops XD

I always thought she has no one - maybe because the ceremony of the first rune wasn´t written. But there was a time I thought she had. Well, it doesn´t change the real subject of this wonderful picture x3
And the clothes ... Well, I think it fits here that they were these clothes. Jace in his black clothes, Clary more casual - more different and so (maybe?) more powerful to rescue him <3

I thought she got the Clairvoyant Sight rune early in the series, but I could be wrong. I think she was marked with an Iratze in book one, when Jace healed her without knowing for certain if she was a Shadowhunter, but I don't remember if there were any other runes...
