I just listened to the song, and, in my personal musical and poetic opinion, it's better as a poem than a song. When I read those lyrics as a poem, I heard America in my head saying it (which was totaly awesome). When I heard the song...it just wasn't my preference...

...Wait a sec...(I didn't get far in the game yet)...you mean America's NOT dead?! I thought he died for sure! You mean they found him and he comes back in the actual game after the prologue?! Also, where is everyone else? What happened to Japan? Where's France? (I'm playing while reading in their accents, and I wasn't able to do a French accent yet... ) And where's everyone else? Most importantly, WHERE'S AMERICA?! Is he locked in his lab or something? That's where he disappeared in the prologue.

I actually have no idea what happened to America xD I was unable to play the game myself and I was told it was discontinued, BUT I do believe he didn't exactly "die" in the prologue, and it's just that something happened to him, and if the game were to be continued, they'd have to search for America and it may or may not have different scenarios
