Does anyone remember this little lady? I'm fairly sure that the majority of you won't. In fact, anyone who started watching me after June of 2011 would never have seen her.

This is Sugarlips. This is my very first HArpg horse. When I was attempting to adopt Jax from ~iRideOn , Iro introduced me to HArpg. I eagerly read all of the rules and created Sugarlips as my original horse to begin my stable.

The first thing I did with my new HArpg title was to breed Sugar. LOL I know, I know. She had zero career and only her ref. But I can across *Greatalmightyqueen 's Hepaphroditus and requested a breeding. GAQ agreed and I eagerly drew my very first breeding picture.

When I drew the breeding picture I said, "Note: I'm gonna be fairly realistic with this, and I'm not going to skip right to Sugar Lips' foaling. I'm going to continue her training and normal life, etc. No, I'm not going to literally wait a year for her to foal. I'm just going to take my time. LOL" Little did I know that we would still be awaiting delivery over 7 months later.

I do believe that this may be the most realistic gestation period ever recorded in HArpg. Has anyone ever held a mare's gestation out for 7 months?

Poor GAQ, she has probably completely forgotten that Hepaph still has a pending baby. I don't think she even draws him anymore but still. I'm a terrible person! My HArpg exploded, and I think I forgot about Sugar.

In doing my Summary of Art, I came across Sugar again. Feeling totally guilty for not touching the mare in 7+ months, I began sketching her. Within 2 hours I had 5 little images of her sketched, inked, and colored.

If you happen to go and look back at her old ref, you'll notice that I kinda revamped her. Sugar isn't just a bay roan with a blaze and 3 socks. Now she has a gulastra plume and Bend-Or spots. I also modified her blaze a tiny bit so that it covers both nostrils. ^^

This is Sugarlips. Well, the new Sugarlips. I'm still debating whether to foal her now or make her actually hold one for the next 5 months. LOL
