Description The MH-1, predecessor to the acclaimed MH-2 "Tropical Express," emerged from a revolutionary prototype equipped with contra-rotating rotors. Named MH-1 Venek, this helicopter exhibited traits of agility and lightness, although its armor was limited, and its transport capacity was restricted to 4 soldiers. In notable contrast to its successor, the MH-2, which could carry up to 12 soldiers, the MH-1 Venek marked an initial stage in the evolution of this aircraft line.

The initial steps of the MH-1 Venek were guided by the KMC. However, the marines didn't fully embrace its capabilities, as by that point, the KMC was already operating the MH-2 "Tropical Express." Given this circumstance, the KMC chose to redirect the entire batch of MH-1s to be donated to the Kozaltska Colonial Army.

Upon finding its new home within the KCA, the MH-1 Venek was swiftly assimilated by the army. The helicopter was extensively employed on the western front of Operation Tropical Wind, playing a vital role in landing operations using the "swarm raid" doctrine that the KMC had deployed on the eastern front. Its unique features, despite limitations, introduced a new dimension to tactics employed by the KCA, such as being utilized for close air support with 4 soldiers equipped with rifles, machine guns or rocket launchers, providing support to ground forces.

The MH-1 Venek, despite its limitations compared to the MH-2, played a crucial role in paving the way for innovation in the nascent aero-tactical landscape, and itt remained in use until the conclusion of the Operation by the KCA.
