While out on a walk with my daughter we came across a large portion of a meadow buzzing with these bees. They were flying all about at around six inches from the ground. There were little holes all over in the ground also that they seemed to be interested in. I couldn't tell if they had just come out of the holes or what but there seemed to be some relationship like that.I couldn't ret a good shot of one in the air but this one obligingly landed on my arm and posed for me.
