For those of you who grew up watching Toonami on Cartoon Network, this goes out. It struck me surprisingly deep when Tom was canceled, even though he didn't look his best when it happened. So here it is.I don't own Toonami or Tom.

I started watching Toonami in 1999 when I was around 4 years old. Since the time TOM1 took over I watcher almost every night and loved every second of it. I remember when the final broadcast ended I didn't believe that it was dead until the following week when I sat down to there being no Toonami. ever since then, cartoon network has gone down the tubes. providing worse and worse shows.

Most of the people I know (as far as I know) seemed to like Toonami...the program was probably so epic and badass that it cost too much so they had to cancel...but it was so abrupt of a cancellation...no. Idk what caused it's cancellation, but I know that I will never forget this iconic guy. PS: to me, reading this while 'Hope Runs Deep' was playing in the background seemed to fit.

When Toonami was cancelled, so was a part of my childhood.
I mainly watched it from 1997-2001 during the 'classic' Toonami era, but still...memories.
As ridiculous as it may sound without backstory, I don't know what some part of my life would have been without it, especially without Ronin Warriors.
Good, good times, and lots of inspiration.
Too bad you really can't go back.
