An imposing image but one that fails to convey all it might because of the soft floor covering.
The soft focus also detracts from the intrinsic, hard message of the pose / Β props.
So near . . . yet so far.

Sometimes, that soft floor covering is the mighty fallen beast.
Of course, this is all from a simple point and shoot camera. I was told I couldn't get the soft focus, glamor/pinup look with that ratty old, beat up point and shoot, that I needed a professional camera for it. I like it when someone says something can't be done.
I suppose the image makes a LOT more sense once one sees what I had to work with. Photography is about the subject your shooting, and the photographer shooting it... and less about the equipment, if one can make it work.
I hope that explains a bit of where I was coming from with it.

Thank you VERY much! She was a pleasure to work with. It was amazing... all I had to do was say "are you familiar with a Frank Frazetta painting?" and not only did she know EXACTLY who I was talking about, but, she needed absolutely ZERO instruction! every pose, in every image of her was her own idea... she really did do all the work, and all us photographers had to do was snap the photos. (there were a few photographers at this particular shoot, hosted at ^cosfrog 's studio)

Thanks... I wanted strength... I got strength! It was amazing, all I had to say is that I wanted something that reminds me o a Luis Royo painting, and she knew exactly who that was! She is probably one of the easiest models to work with that I've ever worked with! You seriously don't have to say a word, because it's like she downloads your brain, and knows exactly what you want instinctively!
