Description
Another old lineart that I abandoned ages ago, only to paint months later when I could adequately paint lighting.

Months ago (according to the date I signed this painting with), I decided I wanted to draw pre-canon Sword and Blade in a somewhat more action-ish pose (since most of my depictions of them are static and completely undynamic). Exploring the pre-canon Kirby universe is something I've always wanted to do, and I always enjoy it when artists (or authors) acknowledge that the universe before the Kirby anime takes place is a much less happy-go-lucky place than Dreamland is.

So the style and the details in this painting are similar to (l)imitations and (machi)nations , which were drawn with similar ideas around the same time.

I also have no idea where their masks go. I don't think I've even painted Sword & Blade with their masks on -- but that's another old lineart to paint another day.

Will balance the colors later when it's bright enough to see them.
