This is so wonderfully true and I love it, the key really is your perspective. Our beliefs shape our reality, it's amazing when you start noticing those little negative thoughts and self-doubt, and over come them with faith and believing. awesome!

To put it more simply, we are what we think. However, keeping yourself motivated long-term is difficult for most people, myself included.

Okay, so I've heard of this law of attraction from The Secret and now I've heard it from you.
I was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions that I have:
1. In The Secrte they mention visualisation a lot, so do you think I could visualise my art being better? Will that help too?
2. I've been trying to use the LoA to become more popular and loved; but I can't help but have a lot of negative thoughts like "this is impossible" etc. How'd you advise me?

Yup, visualization is very important, although there is another part to visualizing that completes it... you gota feel good about what you are thinking/visualizing. For example, before an artwork I visualise just being very happy with the result and that no matter what it ends up looking like, it'll look great. That sets a solid foundation to giving me the drive I need to get there. So just imagine feeling amazing about the artwork that you want to create and that will start you off in the right direction.
For your second Q, nothing is impossible with your imagination. You gota go inside your head to that place you want to experience first, before signs of it will start to show up around you. What you are after is the feeling above all. The more you make an effort to try see the positive, the more opportunities you will have to see it, feel better and the better it will get. Most of us are totally blind to seeing the positive when we are negative anyway. So just choose to relax more and the rest will sort itself out

1:Yes, it could help but actually if you want to do it effectively you have to feel the joy of being awesome at art and that will help you better
as for the second question: I don't know what LoA is so I can't help you

I know how difficult and hard oftentimes not to be overcritical of myself. The self-doubt and self-imposed limitations. The feeling that I am not good enough and just deluding myself that at best, I'll be marginally good - not only in art but with most of the things in my life. It's like the universe pointed at me and the worst is it's not that I have a very crappy life but for the most part I'm always near my goals when everything falls apart and that's heartbreaking. Anyway, you made a good point and thank you very much.
