Title: Æóellindi (eh-oh-el-lind-ee)

**NOTE: Because of the large amount of flattery I have recieved reguarding the realism of this peice I feel the need to make even clearer that the reason that the feathers, snake skin, ect look so real in this picture is because they are, indeed, real.**

Well here is my opening piece for this DA gallery. I've kinda been resisting the community for awhile now for one reason or another, but it seemed like the right time and place in my whatchamacallit (life) to have such a thing.

All that aside the piece is the first of its kind I have done. To say that is mixed media is an understatement. Here we find feathers, moss, metal, buttons, snake shed, glue, paper, fabric, beads, and a shred of my sanity. The character was created for the piece, so I couldn't tell you much about him other than that the ears are modeled after that of a gelfling (a mythic creature from the Jim Henson picture The Dark Crystal by request. I imagine I will learn more about him in the next month. The original will be sold at Yaoi Con in San Francisco this October.
