I am quite glad I got this page done. It seemed like I wouldn't get it done… and I was struggling with myself quite a lot. However, it is now done, and IBAW will continue >_< Just with… a slightly different aesthetics. :s
Hope that's a good compromise.

I've been trying to figure out what to write on this for a WHILE...
Well, first of all just gonna say I think your art is MARVELOUS whether you shade or not the lines themselves are great.
Second... Well, hey, you know me, I liked CELEN'S nuzlocke even if I wasn't sure if it was Celen or Celeu, and this is still my favorite nuzlocke whether you're still into it or not... I'm also super excited you're continuing it, but not just because I like it so much but also because I know how much finishing it means to you... I remember around comic 20 or something how excited you were that you were actually sticking with something for once and how much longer-lived this thing was than anything else you've ever tried, so even if you don't like it anymore you'll have a full, completed comic under your belt and that's nothing to sneeze at. Your art's improved like crazy because of it as well, and I mean wow...
But basically I'll be sad to see this go and am already sad that you no longer enjoy it but I still think it's wonderful and will continue to do so until you finish it off.

Ahh ;w; Yes, Dracona! I know, I remember all the excitement - even at that early stage of the project. The fact that I reached 100 means a lot to me, and giving up… just wouldn't feel right.
So yes, I am sticking with it and I will hopefully finish this and give it the amount of time it needs… to be a good project, to have something that I can say I completed.

I cannot express how much I love the fact that you give nameless and minor characters actual important screen time. My god. Just, reading this, you forget it's Pokemon (and I know I've said this before). It's just like an entirely different world.
I always hoped that they'd turn the Pokemon Special manga into an anime for the older fans, but man. I would give ANYTHING to make a miracle and a half happen and get to see this as an anime (or some form of animation) for the older fans as well. I mean, just... gaaaaahhhh isss sooo amaaaziiiinnnngggg...

I'm so gad the shadow triad are going to play a part in this... they're just so cool in the game... in theory, because we don't really see much of them. I know I should've expected this, but its great that they're actual characters rather than nameless ninjas.

I took some time to go back and re-read the previous comic before I made my judgement, and I have decided that your work is much better WITH the shading. My first critique is that you draw the noses too big, and too detailed. They are actually stealing focus from the facial expressions. My second and greater critique is that while your art is passable without the shading, it becomes less unique and interesting. I always thought you had an unusual clay-like texture to the way that you colored your characters, and foregoing the shading takes away one of the big things that made your art unique and fun to look at.
That said, I understand if you are short on time and have to do this in order to finish the story, but I suggest sticking it out and putting your best into every page. When the story is complete, and you go back one day and read it from start to finish, you will feel much more satisfied.

I'm glad at least someone thinks the added effort pays off XD So yeah… Glad my shading is appreciated. I also always thought my shading is what made the comic much more unique since it's not cell shading or anything.
Either way… still thank you. It IS because I have to finish the story and I cannot do it otherwise. If I had the choice, I'd always take proper shading over this, simply because /I/ like it more.
But yes, I'm compromising on the art in terms of shading, but I'm not truly compromising anything else. Just cutting the shading lowers the amount of work immensely, I tell ya. The story will still be IBAW. ^_^
