Description .... the cause of joy, the fuel for imagination, the reason a laughing child could touch the sky. now it lays cast aside, long forgotten, and when no one is looking, it weeps for what it once was..

Desat used to help communicate the emptiness, starkness of abandonment .

well, its a swingset, i can't tell if it's rusty or not, but the grass is all overgrown.
it's obviously very bright sunlight judging by the darkness of the shadow by the fence...
why did you do it in black and white?

'it once was...' what?

is it just saying 'i'm too old to play on my swings anymore'?

i used b&w to help portray a sense of desolation, sadness, starkness.

'it once was...' part of a child's adventures, giving that child wings to fly. now it stands, abandoned, lost among the overgrowth and discards, longing for the days when laughter still surrounded it.

and personally, i dont believe anyone is too old to play on the swings.
