A 12-gauge round, just hit the side of him but knocked him to the floor when she bursted in. Her eyes were on Joseph first and she ran to him, As she was pulling him behind the desk the roo boss cocked his shotgun again. He aimed for Analie's head with a steady hand, but when Analie saw him aiming the gun broke. Jammed and cut his hand like the gun tried to shoot the wrong kind of bullet out.
"Gyahh!" Joseph let out another cry of pain "Son of a- Nnng!"
"I got it, I got it!" That feminine voice in Joseph said, Oddly though joseph's mouth didn't move that time. To her surprise the gun wound stopped bleeding for a while, but that was it. "It's all I can do."
they heard the 12-gauge drop to the floor, the roo boss must have given up on it. "Come on out!" He shouted "let's end this fast, Maybe you'll get life in jail at best!"
Analie was smarter than that, if he had some connection to the police there'd be no doubt they'd die from them. She tried to sneak a peak but a shot just missed her head. the roo had a pistol in his hand, wise person to keep more than one gun in the room
Her pistol was out of ammo, but what about Joseph? She took it from him as he held his wounds and checked the clip. 4 shots left, plenty.
As Analie cocked the gun she listened to the roo's steps and counted down in her mind. "4… 3… 2… 1…" Then she leaped over the desk.
