Description
Sonne Walks the halls, looking down mostly, but still able to avoid walking into people. She couldn't shake her mind about Casper, she was the one that helped her get this gardening club off the ground in the first place. And, with the first meeting of it being today, Casper would not be there. It enveloped her mind, and caused her hooves to drag as she walked the halls.
"How you holding up there?" A familiar voice said to her, but looking down, Sonne only see some red paws and a skirt, She looked up and saw her brother, "You seem really down, Something going on?"
Sonne stared at him for a moment, and took a deep breath, "Casper's not here. She was the whole reason I could set up my club and she's not even here for it."
"Casper? The girl you met at homecoming?" Nicolai tilted his head at that, "And you haven't found her?" He sighed and shrugged, "I actually relate to that pain, I can't find Desdemona either. But they gotta be here, right? Des said she goes to this school."
"And Casper said that she'd transfer to here." Sonne said, "What am I suppose to do with the club until she gets there?"
"Wait, did you make the club just for her?" Nic looked at her, squinting a bit, "I Thought you were planning that before the football game."
"I was, Really, I love plants and gardening." Sonne said, but started looking away, "But she was the one that got people interested in my club after the big event. It feels wrong doing this without her."
"Do you think she would show up?" Nic asked, "If she was late to this one, do you think she'd be there another time? at another meeting?"
Sonne paused at that puzzled, "Yeah? Why?"
"Then look at it this way." Nic said, "Have this club go on, at it's best. That way, when she shows up, it will be ready and at it's best. Think of it as a way to welcome her."
Sonne's eyes lit up and thought about it, "That's a really good way to look at it. Thanks Nic."
"I do what I do," Nic said, "Now, if you excuse me, I need to head to the office again, get some pants on." And he walked past Sonne and down the hall.
Sonne tried not to look, and had been trying to not laugh the entire time at her adopted brother in a skirt. She covered her mouth and giggled, and her tail raised a bit, looking Nic's way. Sonne took notice of the her tail and the tongue that was going through the illusion that hid her real appearance, then she quickly forced her snake tail down. Then she quickly ran off to her next class, thinking of how to approach her club and the members after school.
