Description
Sonne had stayed after school ended, preparing things with her teacher, Mr. Scruff. They had a Gardener's Club that was going to star and wanted to make sure things were right as reign for their new members to ensure they kept coming back. They had set out many pots and patches of soil for their plants, and put down several packets of different seeds.
"So we don't really have some big plants at the moment, but that's fine, it's just a start." Mr. Scruffy said, "Just like all gardens."
"That might be a bit hard to advertise." Sonne said, "It's not like we could make a game out of this."
"True, but is it really a game?" Mr. Scruffy said, "What got you into plants?"
"Well, they're easy to take care of." Sonne said, "You just gotta do some things, and you can let them be."
"Stick to the simplicity." Mr. Scruffy said, "Let them see how easy it can be to start then see where it could branch from there."

Before more could be said, students were already entering the classroom, and the club was going to be in session.
Sonne was in the middle of some set up work, but Mr. Scruffy was already on point with the club. "Welcome to the club everyone, I'm Mr. Scruffy, and the founder of the group is over there, Sonne." He gestured to her, "For now, while she's setting things up, Let's get to know each other a little better."
Sonne did have to set up a few more things and make some choices, she constantly was shifting between different seeds for flowers and other plants. After a while she set them down with a smile and beckoned others to join her.
So, setting up these up is pretty basic, you wanna basically choose the kind of seeds you want and then make a hole in the soil for them." Sonne started to explain,
"Yeah, we know the basics of it," A panda said to her "What's the more special part of it though?"
"It's not as simple as that. If you make the whole too deep the sprout will never reach the surface," Sonne said, "and if you have it too close to the surface, the seed could get eaten or blown away."
The panda looked a little curious, "So how deep is usually enough?"
"You could measure it with your thumb actually." Sonne smiled, "Just stick your thumb in, and the hole made will be enough."
"That... sounds easy enough." The panda said, "But what about water now?"
"Different plants need different amounts, same as sunlight." Mr. Scruffy said, "This is why it's best to research on what you want to grow first, Dan."
"Yep, A good way to measure it is with the soil though." Sonne said, "If the soil the plan grows in is damp, the plant should be fine."
"Sounds contradictory to what the teacher said." Dan looked between the two, "Where do you get that idea from?"
"I use to grow lots of different plants." Sonne said, "My advice comes from experience, but it's fair to say I could be wrong about this stuff."
"Then why are we listening to you?" Dan said, and it got Mr. Scruffy's attention too, "We're looking to you to lead and have answers, not having answers goes against what you are suppose to be. So does your advice work or not?"
Sonne was quiet as she saw the others looking at her, and she couldn't help but hold her tongue as she scrambled for answers.
"If she's been successful with this there is some merit," Mr. Scruffy said, "Soil is a great way to indicate the needs of a plant. Dry means more water, and even some of the textures can give way to problems the plant might face. But that takes some years of experiences..." From there, Mr. Scruffy started teaching the class and helping them along, and Sonne more helped the teacher with his lessons. Deep down, she still wanted to talk and say some things, but nothing could come out. She screwed up and feared what it could mean, and feared well as what might happen if she spoke out again....

Sorry this came so late, work changed my schedule and usually hours. I had them the way they were for a reason, I got a lot to try and track and arrange for now. Heck, I thought I posted this on DA monday night, when in actuallity, I fell asleep! ><
