Description Edit: The 2013 snail calendar is now for sale:



Edit: I've submitted this as a print! The resolution is higher in the print version, and there's no watermark.

One of my many new models, Squig the snail Named because the person who experimented with him marked his shell with a squiggle (they're pretty much rescued lab snails), and my imagination has failed me.

Expect to see quite a few more snail shots coming up...

And yes, that is a snail mouth.

I used to have snails, a long time ago. It always amazed me what loud eaters they were. I would feed them fresh romaine lettuce, and you could hear them munching happily from 2 metres away!
You have some amazing photos in your gallery, I have never gotten the hang of macro photography and am always impressed by those who have this skill.
