"Deep down within one's heart lies a child who is asleep, but yet... awake."

This is our character, Yumi (she's a bit younger in this pic), from me and my friend's story, Distance. She wrote it all and we were planning for me to make a manga version for it, but you see... I am so amateur at drawing manga it's not even funny. It was too big a project so I ditched it after designing most of the characters.

So another friend of mine requested a picture from me and this is what I came up with. I am giving it to her tomorrow. Hope she likes it!

I always seem to end up drawing abnormally large heads, don't I?
