My Beloved Ellen ; _ ; it seems like after Touhou 3 she was forgotten as time went on, just like her memories...~The immortal and eternally young Witch and her cat Sokrates here~
Ellen and Chiyuri are ma two favourite PC-98 characters :3
PC-98 characters are under-rated and more of them should be brought back

OH and before you idiots start making comments about her looking like Marisa, NO Marisa looks like Ellen! Marisa goes waaaay back to the Seihou games and the Touhou games before Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream BUT Marisa did not look like what she does today (same as Reimu), it's actually suspected that Marisa's later designs are based off Ellen's clothes.

Anyway Title - well anbody who knows Ellen will know that Tabula Rasa~The Empty Girl is amazingly awesome theme, so i did my usual play with words and got an effective title for teh pic :3
Those Hearts are the hearts that appear on screen during her stage~FUWAFUWA~Ellen's so adorable ; w ;

If this drawing is based on Ellen's original design, then there's no way either Marisas(PC-98 and Windows and their respectives games' version) look like her. Regardless of that, it looks very nice.
About returning characters, I think it would be cool if ZUN made remakes of the PC-98 games. Then no one would keep annoying others about a possible Mima return.
Or he could make an entirelly new game with only the PC-98 characters returning. With 6 stages and extra stage, also counting mid-bosses, there could be 14 returning characters!

i think ZUN should definatley bring the characters back, but only gradually, it keeps people on their toes then :3
tbh i think ZUN is gonna keep trolling us all about Mima for a while yet but having said that, it is rumored that there is to be a return of a PC-98 charcter in Ten Desires and since at games is about strange spirits appearing, who knows, possibley Mima could make her comeback there - but i doubt it
and i think it just wouldnt be the same if ZUN made a remake of one of his own games

I see. I didn't know about this rumor concerning the return of a PC-98 character. This is rather interesting indeed. Though the fact that there is no set date for the full version of Ten Desires doesn't help much...
Indeed it wouldn't be the same, but since I never played the PC-98 games, I don't know if it would be better or not to remake them.

Have you at least listened to the OST? The 3th stage boss' theme is the one I liked the most.

yaaaa there's 2 different types for each BGM in the game isnt there? like a normal one and spirit world one or something

Yuyuko surprised me as first boss, i prefare her theme from PCB a heck of a lot more though, even so, he put his trumpets back into it which was nice to see, well, hear XD

Yuuka has her own fan-club... Not only that, but that sounds a little hateful towards Yuuka and her fans, anyhow. Why not love all of ZUN's creations as is?

oh no im absolutely for yuuka, sorry if it sounds like im against her, i love playing as her in PoFV and i love listening to her wonderful themes
although sometimes i feel some of the other less popular PC-98 characters should get some recognision instead of it mainy being Mima and Yuuka - it generally seems that way sometimes
Also ZUN is a man of many talents for creating all that he has and he deserves the upmost respect for that (: perhaps my words were a little harsh up above

and yeah Marisa and Reimu have always been the 2 main characters so its natural that they get a lot of attension but that doesnt go to say that the others dont deserve it either
