Eugenides from Megan Whalen Turner's Attolia series.This half a practice piece. Drawing Gen again as he is an interesting character, and since I found an inspiring reference that reminds me of him.

I love this picture not only because it's beautifully shaded, but because when I first looked at it, I thought he was angry. Now that I've stared at it for a bit, he looks like he's pursing his lips to keep from laughing - which seems a lot more like Eugenides to me. Excellent job.
