Wayman In reply to CuriousCorn [2009-01-08 18:06:10 +0000 UTC]

Well its not far from Durham my friend, so you should make the trip, I would also plan a visit to surrounding areas also, as you will only spend about 30minutes to an hour maximu at this location, as apart from the Angel, there is not much to see.

CuriousCorn In reply to Wayman [2009-01-08 19:13:48 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I know. Only now it feels a bit silly, as I used to commute past it a couple of times a week when I lived in Gateshead and had to go to Framwellgate. Just never got around to getting off the bus and shooting it!

Wow that is so totally amazing!!!

Just as a side question, could you maybe send me the raw images? I'm after experimenting with HDRI and my camera doesn't support exposures differencing.....

If you don't want to, thats fine.

Wayman In reply to cdlink [2008-12-13 11:31:42 +0000 UTC]

Hi.. Thanks kindly for the comment.

The raw images total approximately 60mg, far too large for sending.
Also the above images were taken in Infra-red which utilises a different technique in post processing.

If your camera doesn't support bracketing, then you could take 3 separate images and change either a.The EV (exposure value) or b. The Shutter speed (exposure time) and just tell your HDRi program what the values are (ie -1,0,+1)

Hope this helps and thanks for the
