My lady and I bundled up the other morning to catch the sunrise on the lake... a beautiful one at that .....she had no idea I was taking this photo.

When nature paints the sky it's never a bad paintingl So glad you were there to capture the moment with your camera! The lady completes the story in her cozy fur jacket with her hands in her pockets. Wonderful composition and colors (of course).

I caught this sunrise but only through the trees in Murillo. I wish I had been down at the waterfront like you. Great shot!

Beautiful colours, nice contrast between the oranges and the bluey-greys. Also like how she is silhouetted.
All in all a wonderful shot, as always

Categorized perfectly. You got an awesome shot on this one. I agree with an earlier comment "like an inuit" looking at the horizon. Very nice. BUT, whats with the noise on the bottom left of the frame??? wierd

i still think you dont see what i'm talking about. Maybe i only see it because i use a laptop, LCd monitors play with colors a bit, but the rock that shes standing on, and down, and to the left, its all like... gray, a solid color. To me, i can clearly see where something was edited or covered up. Maybe noise was a bad word for it, lol. But maybe you can see what i'm talking about now.

Those pattern of circular stridations I'm picking up in the blacks...is that part of the photo processing, some sort of copyright protection thing, or am I just seeing things?

hey thanks for bringing that to my attention Sterling.. must've been something to do with the resizing as far as I can tell because there was little other post-edit reqired here.. never seen anything like it before though and the full size version didn't have those 'rings'.. your monitor must be LCD or brighter than mine.. I hadn't noticed without jacking the brightness on my screen up... anyway.. I think I've fixed it ...have a look for me would ya? .. thanks bud!

No problem, they're not there anymore! I had the same issues (not neccessarily compression, but other things) with some of my older photographs...so when I got the new laptop wanted to make sure I had the best graphics I could afford.
You know though, if you could figure out how you do that, that's a great copyrighting technique, that's why I asked..
