...A cold morning in early December of 2009.. the ice floats in Sturgeon Bay, Lake Superior, like a huge slushy forming into something more solid. The orange algea blooms on the rugged shoreline are common in this area and have given the rocks a distinct fiery color.

no we haven't had anything close to those temps up north here .. but we're in spring-burning conditions right now so things are getting a little busy..

ahh ok John, well it was a teaser . 101.4 at 4 pm thursday even 96 still at midnight...Friday night was 60 and this morning the official low here was 44 , and now 55 ...jope you have a great weekend and safe fire response season
