~~~~The Sleeping Giant as seen from my hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. The 'Giant' forms the tip of Sibley Peninsula and the eastern shore of Thunder Bay on Lake Superior.

It's funny how the mind can fixate on a place, an object, a view or even a moment that has passed you long ago. I look forward to going back to Silver Islet someday, just to get a second look at that old cemetery or to Pass Lake, where I can watch the train roll down the track high above the tree tops.

Great God Almighty, I do believe this is the most beautiful photograph in your entire gallery... and that's definitely saying a lot.
It's awe-inspiring in its magnitude... there's nothing I don't like about this shot. It carries that same dream-like quality that all of your gallery has... but something about this makes it hit home even more than any other.

Wow we have a "sleeping Giant" moutain range in my hometown to, unfortunately Scotland isnt sunny enough to get a beautiful image like this !.
