Very nice work. What method do you employ to avoid HDR halo between the sky and the tree detail? I'm never successful at this.

I found nice settings to avoid the haloing. You can also use clone stamp with 'darken' setting to paint the bright halo away from the treeline. By 'darken' setting the sky color won't affect the dark trees/silhouette. This is what I mean: [link] Try it!
