Description Gunarmdyne's OC, Aremi next to an AMAZON close air support craft, Owl.

Though not as glamorous and celebrated as the Swan the Owl is always a welcome sight to the stilettos on the ground.

Note: The Owl is a replacement for AMAZON's older close air support craft, the venerable Mogoose. Thought tough and well armed the older craft was a nightmare to handle on take-offs and landings.

I get the feeling I'm going to have to design on just to get this line of questioning to stop.

good job the problem is that the plane should not be shorted too much with the pilot in front, that makes the plane appear small, since the plane should be farther away, it should bear less foreshorten effect than the closer objects, also the landing wheel is a bit small.

Thanks for the constructive comments. I felt the picture was off, so it's goo to get so advice of how to correct things.

No problem I knew its hard because the scale of a plane vs human is "too much" to show both, and a car vs human is much closer on the scale.

Such a sexy pilot. Always love the detailing in your mechanical devices too.

I just noticed her heels, which seem like they might complicate flying a jet.

No clue who she is, but a very striking young lady... and killer vehicle design there. The engine looks a bit like a riff on the A-10...

*SPLORT* 'Stilettos on the ground!' <3

Ahem! So, yeah, I remember the Owl now, with the big engines in the back and the REALLY big gun on the nose! As I recall, it's slow, heavy, armored, and packs one heck of a whallop.

Good lord, you did this fast! I grok that it wasn't started right after you posted the one with Kat, but still, speedy!

Once again you spot the subtle joke.

Actually, the original name of the craft "Mongoose" slipped my mind while I was drawing. But since the original design had low mounted engines, I decided that the Mongoose would be a flawed airframe, used by AMAZON in their desperation for fighting vehicles, but phased out once the newer Owl was acquired.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

You decided to do this what, five hours ago? And you've already got two drawings done!

Thanks for the kind words, but I'm nowhere near that fast.

I drew the Kathryn picture last night, and waited until I got Rabidgundam's permission before posting it here, which is probably why it seems like I got the pictures done in rapid succession.

I've only finished one drawing since my journals.

That's still pretty impressive, considering the level of detail in the drawing.

So it's an A-10 Starfighter. I'm not saying it looks like one.

Do you mean the A-10 Thunderbolt II, or the F-104 Starfighter?

If you mean the former than yes, it is inspired by the T-Bolt. It's pretty much the ultimate template for the ground attack jet. I widened the wings, and bent them, a la the F-4U Coursair and added a "V-Tail", and positioned the main gun in the belly, rather than the nose; but there are some things you can't improve too much upon.

I meant if the A-10 was a Starfighter but now that I think about it that wouldn't work. It would go against what the A-10 was built for.
