Hrm, I've seen this design before.

Looks like you used PMC clay and molded it from a button. Specifically, a LaMode Vintage design button, number 1728. You can buy them JoAnn Fabrics.

I made earrings from them when I bought a pair. Nice touch with the gems.

Yes. That's one of the fun things you can do with PMC. You can freehand sculpt (which I mostly do) or you can make molds of designs and press them out.

The other thing that is sometimes fun is to do a hybrid of the two, where you take elements from one and add to the other. Lots of fun!

And the ability to add gems is like frosting on the cake!

Yes. Most of my work is metal clay (pure silver). Aren't those stones beautiful?

I have always been fascinated with art and architecture through the ages. I love the gold work of the ancient greeks and saw this as a homage to their themes and motifs.
