I saw a tutorial on this on 3dTotal a few days ago very cool I was thinking about making something lego oriented in 3d as well!

hahaha bastards, you have no idea how long i looked for a tutorial on modelling LEGO when i started all this lol Ah well, self-taught worked out better lol

oooh, i have this one too! you've forgot to put a noise bump-map on the slope-bricks again, and the orange looks just a little different from what i have, but still... it's great!
(i just realized what i was missing. normal lego has this little "lego" text, diagonally, on all those little circle-thingies. might be a bit much to ask, but it would add a lot of realism)

You are not the first person to mention that, and i will give it a go. I reckon it could be done by using a bump-map of the word LEGO to give it a embossed look. Not entirely sure how to do it, but i'll post up my results.

It will eventually be part of an animation me and Luke are putting together, we are either going to remake some selected scenes or possibly (if we can get the permission) and entire film lol
