How did you obtain those light dot into model eyes: flash shot?

I used two studio lights (I've got my own small studio at home). In her right eye you can see both lights.

Very nice B&W shots in your gallery. Someone said something about the grain in one of your other photos.
Personally, I don't mind a bit of noise in some photos, especially black and white. But, I use a plug-in called Imagenomic Noiseware Pro., when I feel it is too much. ( [link] ). Free trial download.
There are a couple of others out there that do a good job too. If you are planning to stay with the 40D you might want to try it. With the newer models noise is less of a problem. I really like the 5D Mark II, but that is a bit too expensive for my buget. I will be holding on to my 30D for a while more.

Thank you so much for your kind words on my B&W shots!
And thanks about your information on the Noiseware.
I sure will have a look at the site.
5D Mark II, would love to have one myself! But I'm afraid it's
too expensive for me too.

How beautiful she is! Love that you caught her with her head turn just so, like that, how her hair spills down catching the light. Beautiful pose. Light is perfection, also!
