I am just rediscovering the beauty of this shot and am very touched by the story about your father, too. No downloads from your trip to the North Sea yet, I see. Well, I shall be patient.

It's worth going there!!! It's between Scherpenzeel and Renswoude. The way to this bird reservation is
a walking route, called "Klompenpad".

Is this part of a lake or a river. Peaceful.

Sorry for the late, late answer. No it's not a river or a lake it's a moor. A great place to be. There also was a very thin layer of ice on the water. It's a place birds like to be.

I am thinking of you a lot as I can relate to how your father is. My dad was the same and you feel so helpless. Mum has been limited to what she can do for over a week and I can see her getting depressed at times. However, after three sessions with the physiotherapist the pain is so much less.

My Mum's birthday is today and I will certainly send on your best wishes to her when she gets up. We had to take her out yesterday as she has a physio appointment today and I have an important meeting too.
We had wonderful weather for our outing and Jim managed to push Mum up into the top of the trees. I still have your email address to I will email you a photo. I might put a couple in my scraps too, but I'll let you know when I've done that. We also enjoyed an animal farm where we had lunch and fed some goats, cows, alpaca's and a donkey.

Really cool layout with the way the trees are placed in the composition.

Love the way you caught the little outline of silver on the sides of the trees.

Indeed. We've got more places for birds! Most of them forbidden for humans! But this one wasn't.

Only thing we can do for them, now that we take away so many places from them to build houses etc!!!!
