Its amazing how the simplest designes can have such a cool effect if the camera is positioned corectly. Try changing your FOV... it really can make for a nice effect. What was this done in... bryce? I love it.. btw..

you may ask i use 3d studio max with the mental ray plug in (should come standard in newer versions)
there is no post editing of the image just a resize and a border added and thats done with pantshop pro
