I think Canada just had one of those ‘haha, what the hell just happened?’ moments.

Also Spanish cheer-up charm because I remember Spain doing that to Romano in some comic, yes?

I have to confess that there’s a part of me that is always in search of new, crackier pairings, and likes the idea of Romanada/RomanoxCanada/whatever you would call it.

But at the same time I just like the idea of them being friends, and Romano being all Italian grandma towards Mattie, because he can’t get mad at him like others because Canada just apologizes and makes him feel bad.

So whether you interpret this as shippy or not is up to you.
