Description Why must we fight to preserve peace? Does this really make sense to anyone? The honorable U.S. servicemen and women that lay cold in the cemetary, that this fence surrounds, are being trod upon by heartless corporate reptiles that will devour anything, or anyone, to dominate this planet. They care nothing of you or the ones you love. Only their lavish lifestyles and secret agendas are of value. Be warned my friends, be warned.

just love the way the fence is pulled into the distance and fog. i wonder where the logic is that generals and other officers be responsible to the troups. instead they are politicians.

Thank you, and I agree. The politicians rarely listen to the generals anyway. Sad.

I couldn't agree with you more! What makes me mad too is the way Bush has them bring the bodies home in the dark of night with no photographers allowed. Mustn't let people know there's anyone dying over there!
Great shot btw, very poignant.

i still can't believe that this goverment is still in power. this is the stuff that revolutions are made of ...there's so much stuff coming out recently about how they've deceived the american ppl including lying to the religious right just so they can get their votes during the last election ..amazing.

It's just about revolution time...however I believe that's what they want just so they can enforce marshall law on us next. Can't win.

Thanks, and please note that I'm not taking anything away from our military. They are just doing their job. It's the bosses that decide what those jobs are that I have the quarrel with.

Photo: Beautiful, sad and true. Does the US represent a fence? A superior force with which nothing smaller can pass? And has it armed itself in which to keep others out, or is it terrorising the ones who live within?

Very touching photo. It deffinatly convey's a message, and I hope I saw the right message. ^^'

Description: So true mate, It's all about money these days, no one cares about anything else. Governments fight each other everyday, most of the time it's just for money... Sure they'll say it's about the "Weapons of mass destruction" or the fact that they're a "danger to our way of life (or our "freedom"), But by the end of the day it's all down to wether they'll make a profit out of it, or wether they'll stay in office longer, or wether it's giving the corporations more power and money in which to fund the government...

Sorry dude, But I get so pissed off with politics.

... [deep breath]
Great work mate! Keep taking those awesome photo's.

... a very difficult concept to define: one man's freedom to denies another's freedom from. My own view is of course that the latter takes precedence! Interesting you use the word "reptiles" - the media labels David Icke as "crazy" and even "dangerous" because he speaks openly of such things. Like the fog suggests, we cannot know what the future holds, but for certain, it can't maintain the present trajectory. A powerful peace (ironic misspelling )

Just saw this post too! I have the 3 disc DVD from David Icke called "Secrets of the Matrix". Great stuff. A little "out there" on the 3rd disc but I love the political stuff. This is exactly why I used the term "reptiles" too heh.

Excellent, someone else who understands - in my neck of the woods, his name is practically a byword for insanity. I managed to find an mp3 of a radio interview with him and was impressed that he actually answered even the craziest questions fully, unlike our 'great' leaders who simply evade them...

Thanks man, best of 3 or 4 shots overall. One had the whole flag but the rest of the image didn't grab me for some reason so I chose this one. Live and learn heh.

nice shot nevertheless... .....*

weeja In reply to endraum [2006-10-11 23:50:10 +0000 UTC]

I'm not fond of the crop either but out of the 3 shots of this scene only one had the entire flag but the rest of the shot wasn't up to par (IMO). Since the foggy circumstances aren't always common I had to quickly take what I could get and move on to the next foggy scene Thanks for commenting sweetie!

freedom = fenced in = cold dead in the ground = freedom ... the american way. unfortunately, the question is: can we ever change it?
