Every photographer has to have a railroad tracks shot in his/her portfolio. Alas, this is mine.

This is very well done, I love the tonality of this photo.
Somehow, these tracks kind of give you a feeling of "past", and distant quiet spaces, with a train slowly cruising through, making noises every little while and giving a whistle.

i thought i had found an abandoned track not long ago, so i dragged my little brother and his bike onto it. went for a long walk, through a tunel and everything, taking pictures.. and afterwards i found out it wasn't abandoned after all. scary thought.

wow I love train tracks 
One thing I would suggest is to take the image into photoshop or any photo editing program and take out the trees that are at the end of the train tracks.. that way you will wonder as a viewer where the tracks will take you (Because when I look at it.. I don't wonder where it will take me as I see bush at the end of the tracks)
I like the greeny browny tones. overall its a lovely image but I think that editing may make it perfect
