Description
First submission of the year and I end up making King Sombra look like Acerbus. That and I thought he would look pretty cool as some dark alicorn-looking thing which explains the wings under his cape. I know it's a tad late to complain about his depiction in the show, but it's pretty annoying how they built him up as some legit threat until his inevitable return when he just stood there and watched as the Crystal Heart is restored and gets knocked out once again. It's pathetic but at least the comics did a better job with him, so go check them out if you're interested.

I don't do a lot of paintings since they take hours to complete; this one took around 7 hours and 17 minutes total. I also have another one that I started months ago that's still unfinished. That one was supposed to be a basic soft shading piece until I decided that I wanted to make it look better. That's what I get for trying to outdo myself and get cocky at the same time, I suppose.
