I made this some years ago.Two dear friends were getting married, and they commissioned me for something special.
Her costume is inspired by the late bustle period, and his outfit is a bit of a modernized version of the jackette, the jacket embroidered with organza ribbons at the back.
For her: underpinnings for the gown, the full dress plus a jacket.
For him: Velvet jacket, waistcoat and necktie.
The gown is in red silk dupion and has loads of detail
These people are simply awesome, and my best customers.

It was incredible, held at the "SΓ₯staholm" mansion. So neat, I went there early in the morning and got to help them through their special day! .. I was also invited as a guest, thankfully XD

Oh, never heard of it, but it sounds cute.
Haha! It would have sounds (and probably felt) pretty awkward if they asked you to sew their costumes, but didn't invite you to the wedding.
