I say this is one of favorite episodes besides the Naruto Hinata episode. In the manga flashback when Naruto was learning rasengan he had seen where Naruto seemed to be getting along with Shikamaru and Choji especially when Iruka was lecturing them.
I never understood why Team 7 gets the most credit when in truth those two and Hinata were like best of friends. Even that when Iruka and Hinata were like talking about them and smiled at them.

Yeah, though most will not watch because its filler and it doesn't fit with how the manga had between Sasuke and Naruto.

Another thing is that its no secret that it was shown Naruto been hanging out with Shikamaru and Choji more in manga and that manga moment where Hinata acknowledged him as the proud failure moment. Kishimoto confirmed Hinata supported and acknowledged him before Iruka. Naruto's training with Jiraiya changed his life for improving his ninja skills.
And yet Team 7 and of course Sasuke is been said by Naruto they were his first bonds or Sasuke was his first bond.
