Lol. Half-assed background.

First off, if you have not seen Avatar, you should. If not for the story, purely for the pretty. I mean, the story was darn predictable (I predicted all but one scene correctly) but the world and the characters are frikken awesome.
I saw it in 3d, and I'll prolly be going to see it it 2d when our little town theater gets it, just so I can focus in on all the awe rather than have my eyes refocusing and defocusing every time a clod of dirt or gun popped out of the screen.

The coloring of the creature allows him to be recolored into almost any combination effortlessly. Each stripe, gradient, and bio-luminescent dot can be removed or recolored without effecting him.

Avatar-insipred Pet itself was sold to a virtual pet site for $45, this is for my records.
