His tail is like, perfectly connected to him.
It's not just part of his spine (even though that's what tails are anyway), it's like, body armour, and it keeps his entire lower parts inside or something. Why am I typing this gawd. XD

I personally think it's an interesting idea. You always see such things connect mainly to the back, but if it's something like a kangaroo, which needs its tail as a balance and a chair at the same time, then you'd need extra support. Plus it adds some lovely shapes to his front, so... Well I like it!

It's also connected to his back, and I'll have to draw his backside later, because he has the breathing tube behind there, and really, he just has a long line of metal showing through his bum up to his neck.
The tail is also connected from the back. :V
