This is one of my favorite drawings you have done, its awesome. My three most favorite still being ''Speaker of Chaos'' β ''Matthew Gaul'' β ''M.Gaul armored''. These were the first pictures i found when i was searching for kick ass pictures. Every time i see your pictures, i pouch my self for not trying to study in art classes, lol.

His face is kind of odd. It feels like it's flat. The right side of his face (his left hand side) would be angled backwards. Here, it appears as though both side of his face are equally distant from the viewer, and it just looks strange. I think it's mostly from the left brow. I don't know how you'd fix it though.

I really like this. I love the mix of the more western styled armor with the more eastern styled armguards. I also love how the swords are differently styled. Though I do think he still comes across as being more eastern. Like 70/30. Maybe 60/40.

So my husband and close friends are REALLY into anime, samurai's, ninja's, oriental food, etc. Me, not so much. (I watched Hellsing and that's pretty much it) I've always been confused when it comes to the pronunciation of names. Here in America, I'd pronounce Sho like Show. Or am I way off?

Also, I think I remember from a WIP post that these really are 2D drawings, but you have it down to an art in itself that they could be stylized 3D art. Everything you do to them really gives that effect.

The missing lion threw me so I didn't quite catch the Empire angle. I thought he might be a Phaion warrior maybe the Akaryu Company. Still really nice work and hope to see him in the miniatures game.
