I really like that Marder!

It's definitely the one with the best camouflage scheme. Has the most moving parts, too - turret rotates, gun elevates, rear door and escape hatches open, engine compartment opens, commander's hatch moves, and the MILAN missile launcher is removeable.

Worried there was a better manufacturer that you hadn't heard of? I'd be surprised by that, the only other manufacturer I've seen that tries to include moving parts is Revell/Monogram, and their quality isn't always up to par with Tamiya.
Tamiya tank kits are definitely some of the best I've seen, though. I've built more of theirs (35) than I have any other manufacturer. Dragon, Italeri, and Trumpeter combined don't even have half that much space on my tank shelf.
I do prefer Dragon and MasterBox for the scale soldiers, though. Better poses and more flexibility with accessories.

I always love a good Tamiya kit. I only tried one Dragon and Italeri vehicle kit before.

The Dragon kits are extremely finely detailed, and usually come with a lot of extra pieces so you can choose from a specific version. I've got lots of spare pieces from the first Sherman tank I ever built - alternate drive wheels, turret hatches, even an alternate engine deck.
Italeri and Trumpeter tend to make slightly more obscure armored vehicles that you just won't find in the Tamiya catalog.

My BDRM kit is a Dragon, its not too detailed, ive alot of Zvezda kits and whilst they are detailed they are flimsy plastic and alit of flash.

It probably depends on which kit it is. The three Dragon kits I've built were pretty expensive, which is why I don't buy more of them. But then, I've only built three of them, so that's really not a decent sample size to judge them on.
All the Zvezda kits I've built were model infantry, so I can't speak for their vehicle kits.

I have a russian tank crew kit from Zvezda and their figurines are surprisingly well detailed.

I've only done a handful of Zvezda kits before, but they certainly did seem to be high quality products. My Soviet sniper and MG teams felt extremely lifelike even before I applied the paint.
