As a designer and a photo hobbyist, I am very keen on details. Yes, details. And more importantly, consistency. The vision on the subject is great. High key photography is very good here in this subject, taking advantage of the snow-white colour of the cat's fur.
One thing I've noticed is the black patch on the right side of the photograph, about a third away from the bottom. As for non-trained eyes, they can probably pass it out. However, as professionals can see, it can be disturbing in some sense that the whole photograph should be on high key, consistent on whites and light colour shades. Trying to avoid strong shadow casts and dark-coloured object in high key photography is essential to make the whole photograph consistent in its portrayal. If I am going nitpick some more, I would also point out the black gap/patch at the feet of the cat on the bottom right part of the photo. But that is really stretching out that much.
I love the muted shade of blue of the eyes and the pink hue of the nose. That really suit the entire colour tone of the photograph. Nice, coolly soft bokeh added on the serene atmosphere. I also love the highlight clipping on the cat, which subtly blended the cat to the background without having make it look sharp and edgy nor soft and bland. As for the expression of the cat, I know that it can't be helped ('cause it's a cat), but it could use some more cutey expression to make the atmosphere much more tranquil.

I have never written a critique before, but I will try my best. I am learning photography at the moment....
What a wonderful cat. I love the use of white in this photograph. There are so many different shades that you utilize. You really make the cat stick out with your use of the blurred, bokeh, background. The cat seems to melt into the photograph and those striking blue eyes really bring out the cat. The slight tones of pink in the ears and nose, and the darkness around the face only seems to intensify the cuteness and seriousness of this kitty.
The horizon (what is it a table?) is very well placed and does not distract from the subject. The positioning of the cat is perfect, and offset by the bokeh in the background. The bokeh almost reminds me of Christmas lights- gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.
I do think however that at one point, near the bottom of the cats front leg (our left), that the cat blends a little too much into the photograph and you almost loose him in it. I do love how well the cat blends in color wise, and how well he also stands out. The foreground is plain- save for the cat. He's just there in all his cuteness.
Other than that you have a very good use of lighting- everything just points to this cat and makes those gorgeous eyes "pop"!
I think overall this is a great picture. The cat is simply striking and you really capture it!

The background is non-contrastive and a little noisy, but overall this draws the viewer's focus into the face. It's not a relaxing picture to me because the viewer to focus their attention, but it makes it much more engaging. I've never seen a photo quite like it. Nicely done.

Its blue eyes sparkle like newly made marble, the background... lights! Very pretty (I don't care if it was edited!) Its silky looking fur makes me want to hug it like crazy. But hey, I can't... cuz its just a photo of a cute, blue eyed kitty cat. I like it~
