Cecilia is a very positive and energetic person, she loves tackling new projects. But sometimes this eagerness to jump headfirst into anything leaves her disappointed when she can’t make everything work out as planned. Those close to her have to learn to work with her excited nature and constant ideas.

CC was raised in the heart of Upper Manhattan, New York city. But by the age of 17, CC realized that the fast paced city life was not for her, she would revel in the memories of visiting her family in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and New Hampshire. The miles of nobody seemed so pleasant. By the time she was old enough she filled her boxes and headed to northern NY. Living here she discovered a very wide horse culture, something she’d never really dabbled in – besides the dreamy ponies that every little girl imagined having at one point or another. She soon jumped in headfirst, learning to ride and eventually getting deeper in the competition side of things.

But on one of her out-of-state competitions she ran into an interesting man who she couldn’t help but find herself attracted to. This man was far from the prince charming she had ever imagined but at the same time exactly what she wanted. They both seemed to learn and integrate in each other’s style of horse love, her with her perfectly braided tails and leather crops - him with his muddy boots and homemade rope halters.

CC is a smart cookie, and has a tendency to - okay she always - dives headfirst into projects and gets absorbed whole-heartedly. She has completely thrown herself into her work as a trainer, and absolutely delights in helping both horses and riders learning how to better understand each other and expand their potential.

She mainly sold custom bridles and browbands, but as time went on her skills as a trainer offered opportunities to host clinics. While her husband is out on the range wrangling cattle, she's in the arena setting up poles and telling people to keep their heels down.

Since then, business has been booming. She trains students and horses full time at RSD, and her schedule is constantly booked. She seems to never have a moment's rest - and that's how she likes it. She seems to be everywhere at once.
