Working with Jim Shepard, the mastermind behind "Dungeonmans", a rogue-like RPG, I've completed my first-ever set of professional-grade sprites. Originally, the Dungeonmans style was a bit more proportional(always roughly 5 heads tall), but working together through an iterative process we established some nuance changes while still holding onto the traditional DMans style; 1px thick black borders, heavy contrast, deliberately portrayed, lots of saturation etc. He says he was proud to have me on-board. I'm glad to say that I'm equally pleased to have been a part of the creation of Dungeonmans and certainly proud enough to showcase these sprites.Other stuff:

these are awesome. I would really like to add my own custom sprites for my own characters into the game, but I can't figure out how. would you be able to help me out with it? I think it would be really cool if this game was mod-friendly. that way players can make and share their own custom sprites. It would save the dev team some work, at least

Probably can't do that - the lead designer and I had are no longer working together; if you can find a mod on your own, you're welcome to use my sprites for your personal enjoyment, but I'm keeping my fingers out; just a matter of respect you see.

It's amazing how much detail you managed to squeeze in to these guys! The colors and shading are great. I bet they'll look fantastic in action.
