It's so simple and yet that's what makes it great. I've been in such a rut with potentially overworking art for the class I'm in right now that this is a breath of fresh air, to see your simple style in traditional media.

I'm glad you like it, that was kinda what was going through my mind when i was making it, trying to keep the sweet clean lines and gradients of flash and illustrator with a medium that leaves me with something physical : )
Now i just need to learn to paint like that! fyi, i can't paint.

Ah pastels, a very unpopular medium, at least judging by my artistic friends (everyone who got pastels and told me about it seems to hate them).
You made the colours look.. translucent somehow. They remind me of watercolours. You must use them more!

yeah i've hated them for years lol Infact i remember about 8 years ago i swore off ever using them again! but i was looking for something to colour in a doodle with and they were all i could find at the time.

People don't like them too much cuz you can't get much detail with them.

yeahh they're pretty intuitive i suppose but i think they're hard to make the leap from looking 'good' to looking 'sweet-ass' with them : P
