Description
An early draft of a poster i'm making for the production line at university, basically an end of year showcase of all the experimental stoof made by the music students. It was originally only the moody scenery but then i put a giant robot in because there'd be noise music there as well, not just ambient. noise = robots yeah?Related content

i finally got a tablet and i'm using photoshop but it's so time consuming to get colours and over lap them and blur them together...
and it still doesn't get the same effect as your soft colors...
what kind of program do you use and how?

I'd say (and i'm sorry if this is just really obvious) that when you're making a piece of art you should think of it like it's a videogame or something. it'll take a while to finish but it'll be fun on the way and when it's finished you're actually kinda sad cus you have to come back to the real world : P

The trick is to experiment and explore what you're making so that the more you do to it the more fun you're having, rather than seeing it as a chore to get a forest scene done, think like, what's the coolest thing that could be dangling from this tree, or wouldn't it be cool if there was a big mysterious hole here. youknow, really let your pen go for a walk and don't really think about the finished piece. If you keep that kind of mindset you'll look back on it in a couple hours time and think woah, i just made that 
I use flash mostly, it's got a neat way of painting vectors. I'm not sure how to answer the 'how' question, that's kinda just my style i guess!
