Well, the wings may not be straight black, but they do get pretty dark at the fringes, don't they? What style sword would you have gone with?

More of a stylized cruciform, possibly a variation off of the bastard sword. A good hand and a half goes a long way.

Loving the wings, look like they took forever to do. It looks good but the face is a bit too masculine.. unless thats what you were going for, and the upper body is a bit too large for the lower body, although not too noticable. Love the sword too.. it looks really good over all! Great job.

I was trying to make her look tough and a little rugged. That might be why her face looks a little disproportioned.

Her neck looks a little bullish and stiff, but the pose has great movement, and I like the detail in the wings.
