Description

Dave was a 0-4-2 orange saddle tank engine when originally created back in 2009.

But now fifteen years later, gets a whole redesign and based on the Hunslet locomotives 'Linda' and 'Blanche' from the Ffestiniog Railway in Wales, as well as half sized Ruislip Lido's own Mad Bess (named after the local woods)

I used same design as those I made years ago called 'Jennie' and 'Elaine' and brothers 'Adam' and 'Noberto'. So having at least five siblings within the WWR and three others in the real world.

Linda and Blanche were built in 1893 (making them 130 year old each).

Dave was rebuilt from a 0-4-2 orange saddle tank of a freelance to a real world design from 1893, here in 2024. But as the live ring can be removed, slight resizing and placed into the new locomotive, it is like changing the body but, keeping the memories and personality, like grooves on a record to retain information.

Named after a friend who also went from TurboPrower on dA to AceBlazewing

48 comes from the 48th locomotive added to the Whippet Wild Railway fleet.
